Old Castle and Seashore
Nature and architecture | Rapallo, Italy
There's nothing like a pleasant stroll along the seashore of Rapallo to soak in the atmosphere of the Italian Riviera. Start at the Castello, a medieval structure built to protect the city from pirates; inspect the building from the tiny but very picturesque public beach right next to it. Then walk the Vittorio Veneto Promenade and admire the beautiful buildings in different styles and colours. Longer bookings (up to 90 minutes) can head to the Via Avenaggi Panoramic Terrace for coastal views that go as far as Portofino or include visits to either Villa Tigullio or Villa Porticciolo, both examples of Lingurean high living.
