With its medieval origins, the historic center of Rapallo is the city's beating heart. Walk through its narrow pedestrian streets and admire the brightly coloured buildings typical of Liguria. Look for the Saline Gate — the only of the original five gates still standing — and head to lively Cavour Square to admire the neoclassical facade of Saint Gervasio and Protasio Church. Longer bookings (up to 90 minutes) can also marvel at the impressive Art Nouveau Music Kiosk as well as stroll the waterfront promenade towards the old Castello.
