Meet Marta in Venice

Ciao from Venice! I’m a professional photographer based in Venice. After graduating in Philosophy, my work as a photojournalist has refined my ability to create images and stories that are authentic and timeless. I find inspiration wherever I can perceive beauty, joy, delicacy: empathy is one of a photographer’s greatest strengths — it allows me to connect with people make them feel at ease and truly understand their emotions. Working with Flytographer gives me the wonderful opportunity to meet people from all over the world and share special moments with them. I love not only beautiful photographs, but also a fresh perspective of Venice and a genuine, lasting connection with my city.

Three Things

  1. I believe empathy is one of a photographer’s greatest strengths — it allows me to connect with people, make them feel at ease, and truly understand their emotions. I believe in friendship, in love, and in the beauty of the world and of life, despite everything. I deeply value the connection between people — both verbal and emotional.
  2. The first thing I focus on is making people feel at ease, because for me, it’s the key to creating harmony — both in life and in my work. I take the time to understand what my clients love and how they envision their photo session. I listen to their preferences and try to translate their feelings into images. While the artistic vision is always in my style, my ultimate goal is for them to see themselves authentically in the photographs — as a true reflection of who they are. My style is sometimes more photojournalistic — it really depends on the interaction that develops. Some people prefer more classic portraits, while others enjoy letting themselves be captured in a “reportage” style.
  3. My friends and clients find me very open and affable!

Marta did such a wonderful job with our photos. She was kind and patient with our kids who really just wanted to chase pigeons and made sure to get a variety of backgrounds and poses for some really stunning photos. We had a great experience and would confidently recommend Marta for anyone looking for family photos in Venice.

Marta was AMAZING!!! Booked her super last minute for a crazy request: "please meet us at our hotel for a 15 min shoot before we hop on a water taxi to get to the train station... come along on the water taxi to get some family photos there too!" She showed up and in about 30 mins total in about 100 degree heat and only mildly cooperative kids (and husband - haha!), she captured dozens of amazing shots. So happy we got to do this, and Marta was a total trooper and amazing photographer. THANK YOU MARTA!!!
