Whitney is available to shoot in and around Portland as well as 2 hour minimum bookings in the Columbia River Gorge.
I have been a professional photographer for ten years. My background is in photojournalism; now I am a portrait and wedding photographer with a fine art flair. I have shot for publications around the world, including Wild Tomato Magazine in New Zealand, and have had my work displayed in London's Showcase Gallery Brick Lane.
- I love traveling. Exploring new destinations is by far my favorite pastime. When I'm not able to travel a long distance, you can find me outdoors in the beautiful Northwest hiking, camping and skiing.
- I can't live without my camera of course! It goes everywhere with me. (And I suppose my husband too!)
- I have lived in 3 continents, including stints in Ireland, New Zealand, England and the United States.
Favourite Spot to Shoot in Portland
The Pearl District. I love the architectural elements in that section of Portland.

Customer Love for Whitney...
"We absolutely love our pictures and had such a fun time shooting with Whitney! She made us feel so comfortable and it was for sure the highlight of our trip." - Lola
"Meeting Whitney was like connecting with an old friend. She came bearing a delicious birthday treat for my husband (we were celebrating his 40th!) and she had quite the touch with our one year old daughter. Whitney knew the best spots and managed to arrange a most beautiful juxtaposition of old and new architecture in Portland, introducing us to hidden gems we were overjoyed to discover. The captures Whitney gave us are photojournalistic beauties: telling a story and preserving the wonder and magic of love, of adventure, of right now - soaking up a getaway in a favorite city." - Catherine
"Whitney was amazing! I felt very comfortable off the bat." - EC
"Whitney was so wonderful! We had some weather and location challenges, but she had so many helpful suggestions and ideas. The experience with my mom and sister was something I will cherish forever." - Andrea
