- Coo also works as a national licensed tour guide 🇯🇵 and weather forecaster☀️☔️ - he can suggest not only the best timing and hidden places to capture beautiful light, cherry blossoms🌸 and autumn leaves🍁, but also nice restaurants and iconic locations to go. Yurika worked as a school teacher 🧑🏫and she likes to play with kids and is good at communicating with small children. We also send our clients a list of recommended places, and we always try to deliver as many photos as possible beyond the guaranteed number 📸😊
- We really love organic whole bean coffee ☕️ and organic dark bitter chocolate 🍫 We’re always so happy because many of our clients bring us a lot of coffee and dark bitter chocolate from their home countries ! It means a lot to us ! 😊🙏
- We are a couple who have been together since high school (at 17 years old) , we got married in 2018 (10th anniversary at 26 years old💍😊) We relocated to the countryside during the COVID-19 pandemic and have been renovating a traditional house that is over 100 years old ourselves. We also keep bees🐝 and chickens🐓 on a small scale, and in our garden we grow fruits like blueberries🫐, grapes🍇, and peaches🍑. Because of this, we often need to travel 3–4 hours or stay overnight for photo sessions, so we kindly ask for a travel fee of $95🙇♂️🙇♀️

*** Please note: During high season, only one photographer of the pair may be available for your shoot. Depending on their schedule, a travel fee of 10,000 JPY may be required. Please inquire with the concierge team if you have any questions. If you are inquiring about a Proposal Booking, please note that Coo and Yurika are not able to participate in the Fly On The Wall Scenario.

We loved working with Coo and absolutely loved our photos! His communication was excellent, and he sent us Japan sightseeing and food recommendations as well. You could tell how experienced he was because timing, location and route were mapped out with such precise detail. We met up early, so that we could get photos when the overnight street lamps were still on, giving such a beautiful effect. We managed to get so many varying backdrops in a short distance and within the 60 minute shoot time. He also did something I had not seen other photographers do, which is that he used my phone to shoot short videos and some stills while he was also shooting with his camera in the other hand. This allowed me immediate images and videos on my own phone! We love his work so much that we are booked with him again in a few months and will shoot at a different Kyoto location!! I can easily see how they are the most booked and most popular photographer in Japan.

Huge thank you to Coo for creating such an amazing experience for us. Coo is an amazing photographer and tour guide. Coo was very friendly and great with communication and even let us know in advance if we would like to reschedule due to weather, and I am so glad we did because we were able to take amazing photos and have great casual conversation while also being taught a little about Kyoto and the location that our photoshoot was at.
