“ Coo did a fantastic job capturing our family photos in Kyoto! He was proactive in setting up a time and place to meet and made the whole hour flow. I was worried about our 2 year old with the time change (from the east coast of the US) and being a little chilly weather, but he knew how to make her smile! We went to a few different locations in the area and I love how we had a variety of different beautiful backgrounds. It was also fairly crowded at 8am, but he edited the photos so it doesn’t look crowded at all. I would highly recommend Coo as a photographer to anyone visiting Japan! ”

However, Coo immediately calmed those worries by proactively communicating with us about the meeting spot and upon meeting him in person, his warm and kind personality further eased any remaining concerns. “ My husband and I had the best experience with Coo. We booked him many months in advance and he gave us helpful tips as we prepared for our trip. Given that he is a former weather forecaster, he accurately predicted the chance of rain we could be getting for our October photoshoot. I originally selected Coo based on his aesthetic style of capturing Arashiyama where we took our photos. In the week leading up to the photoshoot, he proactively reached out and provided a detailed route with hyperlinks so we knew what to expect on the route as well as helpful instructions on how we can find him the morning of our photoshoot. He even provided us a list of recommendations in Kyoto as well! We were thrilled with how our photos came out and exceeded our expectations.
