I first and foremost believe in the power of human connection; that beautiful ability that allows us to draw out the best in each other. Sparking connection is what ignites my soul and with that, you'll find that I look for any point of connection when shooting: your connection together, how the light dances with you, how the scenery embraces you, etc. No matter the connection, I'm here to help you feel it again when you look back on your beautiful photographs.

Three Things

  1. I used to be a graphic designer but found I love working with people the most.
  2. When I'm not taking photos I love to just be outside in the Pacific Northwest. It really is one of the most magical places I've ever been to in all of my travels. I also enjoy teaching yoga and meditation and I am currently working on writing a book about my life story.
  3. I eat only fruits and veggies for my health but I also love to learn about how healing foods are for our bodies and emotions. I love to ask questions that get you thinking about things you maybe haven't before.

*Please note: For all locations outside of the central Portland area, Emmy requires a 60-minute minimum booking and a travel fee. Please inquire for a quote.

Emmy requires additional travel fees on the following routes:

Columbia River Gorge: 150 USD

Haystack Rock at Cannon Beach: 150 USD
