We are a husband and wife photography team with over a decade of experience. It's important that you find someone whose work you LOVE - but we believe it's just as important you find someone who will bring out the best of who you are in your photos! Our photo style is Colorful, Candid, & Fun! We love capturing colorful Hawaii as a backdrop to your stunning photos.

  1. We love having family time at the beach. Our kiddos really love playing at the beach for hours and we have a blast on beach camping trips.
  2. We definitely couldn't live without having a good book on the go.
  3. Rui was born on the Azores islands, off Portugal. He also speaks Portuguese and Spanish.

Rui was INCREDIBLE! So kind, funny, attentive and listened to what we envisioned...his artistic qualities made our family photos stunning. I would hands down, ask him to do another session if we lived on the Big Island.

We really enjoyed our photo shoot with Rui. He was funny, and engaging and made everyone feel very comfortable. My favourite quote from him was, "the answer is always yes!" The only surprise to me was that his wife was not present. I thought when I booked that they would both be there. That being said we are beyond happy with the pictures and I just love his edits and how they made the skies look. That is why I booked with them in the first place. So he met all my expectations. I highly recommend Rui.
