Hi, I’m Joanna. Welcome to Amsterdam! I specialize in photographing couples and small families because that’s where the magic happens: real moments, movement, and laughter. I’ll guide you every step of the way and gently direct you, so you feel relaxed and have a variety of beautiful images. My favorite area to photograph is the Western Canal Belt, full of classic Amsterdam charm. For longer sessions, I love showing off hidden gems and talking about history between locations. I have a license to guide groups larger than 5 persons, making it easy to photograph large groups as well. With 9+ years as a Flytographer, I’ll make sure your experience feels fun, relaxed, and truly unforgettable.

Three Things

  1. I love exploring historic buildings in Amsterdam as a 'Vriend van Stadsherstel' (Friend from Stadsherstel), a member of an organization that helps restore and protect the city's architectural treasures. It’s my favorite way to connect with Amsterdam’s past and discover hidden corners full of stories. I also visit museums that focus on history, and love to find new places for breakfast or brunch.
  2. I can’t live without my morning flat white, it’s my little ritual before heading out to meet amazing people. I also carry a tiny video camera to capture small moments in motion. If you're up for it, just let me know, I often forget I have it with me or even to make backstage videos because I get so focused on taking the best photos during our time together.
  3. People are often surprised to learn I’m not Dutch, they say my writing is so direct! I’m originally from Peru and have been living in Amsterdam for 5 years. Before that, I photographed Flytographer sessions in Lima and Cusco, so I’ve been capturing memories in beautiful cities for a while now.

Pricing starts at $325 USD for a 30-minute vacation shoot

Joanna is also available to travel for shoots in Haarlem, Utrecht and Keukenhof. These areas require a travel fee. Please note: Keukenhof requires an entrance fee and is only open from mid-March to mid-May.
