“ We only met Julia that morning, but somehow it felt as though we had known her for ages. She has such a warm, genuine and easy-going personality that both my wife and I immediately felt comfortable around her. What made the session special was that it was never just about taking photographs. Julia shared stories about Madrid throughout the walk, including the story of King Felipe VI and how he married someone outside royalty. She told us how that story shaped her belief that anyone can be a prince or princess in their own way and throughout the session, she genuinely made both my wife and me feel like one. Her storytelling, recommendations, conversations and even her food suggestions were simply marvellous. “ Working with Mary was an absolute dream! We did a shoot in Montmartre, right near her home, so in addition to a photo shoot, we also got a personal tour of the very best of the neighborhood, and a real, authentic feeling for what it’s like. My partner isn’t necessarily comfortable in front of the camera, but Mary put us both at ease right away, and guided us through the morning by letting us just have fun and be ourselves. Her direction was minimal but helpful, and the time flew by as though we were just hanging out with a new friend. That joyous atmosphere was beautifully captured in the photos we received, and looking at them really brings back the fun we had that day! My partner is a true convert — he’s admitted that it was a wonderful idea to book this shoot, and dare I say, I may even be able to get him to do another one? And there is no higher compliment I could pay than that. I wouldn’t hesitate to book Mary for a shoot again and indeed, I hope we have a chance to do so! ”
