“ We had such a great afternoon in Kyoto with Coo. I wanted to propose in the national garden but I hadn't been there in years and Coo helped out with some geographical suggestions in advance, and then once the proposal was complete he basically led us on a tour of all the great photo spots in the garden and took amazing photos of us at each. I had a done a walkthrough in advance but the garden is big and I would have missed a lot of the best spots without Coo's help. He listened to any requests that we had and made sure we got the photos we wanted, I didn't choose the longest package available but we never felt rushed at all, and he even took some photos on our phones so we had shots to show to friends and family immediately. We got the edited photos a few days later and they are of course magnificent, so happy with them. Strongest possible recommend! ”

The route he planned was perfect—quiet, beautiful, and not crowded, which made the whole experience even better. Most importantly, Kris is just an awesome human. He was wonderful with our young son, easy to talk to, and genuinely enjoyable to be around as we walked from spot to spot. His editing skills are incredible too—especially considering my hair was getting absolutely blasted by gale-force winds the entire time! Highly recommend. ”

“ If I could give Darian 10 stars, I would - and that still wouldn’t be enough. We’ve had a lot of photoshoots in our life (a lot-a lot), but this one instantly went into the “top of all time” category. Darian somehow managed the impossible: photographing two humans and two tiny dogs who cannot stand still for more than half a second, especially at 6:30 AM, especially the morning after Thanksgiving, when both food and wine should’ve been legally classified as performance-destroying substances. But no. Miraculously, we look fresh, happy - and the dogs are actually looking into the camera like trained professionals. I don’t know how she did it, but Darian found a way to charm them, engage them, and hold their attention longer than we ever could. My husband barely managed to get out of bed - and yet in the photos he looks like a man radiating energy, optimism, and possibly a whole fitness routine. Darian made magic. She knew all the best spots, guided us gently, was unbelievably patient, caring, and tactful. Honestly, going back to San Diego just for another shoot with Darian now sounds like a perfectly reasonable travel plan. ”

“ We had such a wonderful experience with Choo during our family vacation to Japan. Its rare to come home with a good family photo from vacation, fighting crowds and relying on a stranger to snap a good pic. But we got an entire collection of beautiful photos in amazing locations! The session was relaxed and easy as we wandered around beautiful parks, streets and shrines. Choo has a great eye and we were blown away by the photos when we received them. Which came quickly too, in time for holiday cards! If you're visiting Japan, I highly recommend adding this to your itinerary! ”
