“ I was in Washington, DC only briefly, in December, during one of the coldest days, around 32°F (0°C). It was a work trip: flights, back-to-back commitments, constant rushing, freezing streets. On top of that, winter isn’t exactly my best season: I usually gain some weight, and I’m already over 40, so I honestly didn’t expect much from the shoot. We shot near the U.S. Capitol, in real winter conditions, and what I got instead were the best photos of my life. Kendall created an incredibly cinematic atmosphere - focused, elegant, and timeless. The light, the mood, the framing - everything worked. For the first time ever, I like my photos even more than the photographer’s own portfolio references. This is easily 200 out of 100.
