He would periodically show us previews of the images to make sure we were happy with the direction and results, which made us feel involved and confident throughout the experience. “ Miho, our photographer in Tokyo, was an absolute gem. From the beginning, she communicated exceptionally well and was incredibly responsive to my ideas and direction for the photo shoot. She proposed various locations around the city, each with its unique vibe, perfectly tailored to our style of travel as a couple. As a Tokyo native, Miho was punctual and insightful about the city. Beyond the shoot, we surprisingly learned a lot about Tokyo through her local perspective. As we moved from location to location, she gave us a tour, sharing her knowledge and experiences. Miho lived in New York City after graduating with her masters in photography before returning to Tokyo in the recent years. This background is invaluable for those from the United States, as it helps them understand Japanese culture. We thoroughly enjoyed our time with her and are incredibly in love with the photos she captured. The shoot was a combination of my 30th birthday trip and celebrating our engagement. “ This was my first experience with a professional photographer and Ayako was absolutely amazing from the moment the booking started through to the end. She was helpful with organising the optimal date and time, pitching ideas and provided plenty of guidance during the session. She demonstrated exceptional knowledge of the local area - helping with finding a quality kimono rental shop and picking a beautiful, unique and memorable spot for my proposal. After the shoot, she even suggested some great restaurants! During the shoot itself, Ayako gave many encouraging words and really easy to follow instructions for the poses. I have never done any photography posing in my life, but Ayako's guidance was really easy to follow. I was having so much fun with the posing that I forgot the agreed cue for my proposal! But Ayako was quick-witted and able to discretely get me back on track without my girlfriend noticing. When the moment of the proposal came, everything came together perfectly. The photos were stunning and way above my expectations. Me and my girlfriend would absolutely work with Ayako again in the future.
