We did a fantastic behind-the-scenes bakery tour at the Miss Manon bakery. They taught us all about making bread, let us participate in the process, and sent us home with tons of baguettes that we had shaped and baked ourselves. We also did a family-friendly scavenger hunt at Musee d’Orsay with Caroline from The Little Art Seekers. It was spectacular! She taught the kids so much and engaged them with the artwork through fun activities. Even my husband and I learned a lot!

Pavyllon for our fancy anniversary dinner was the perfect ending to a wonderful trip to Paris! The vibe is relaxed and casual, with great music in the background, and the food is amazing! We sat at the counter to watch the action unfold as the chefs prepared the meals in front of our eyes. The staff is super welcoming and friendly, too. It's like hanging out at your favorite restaurant you frequent at home, just with a Michelin star attached.

What are the best places to eat and drink in Paris?

We loved visiting La Petit Charlotte near the Pigalle district. This menu was amazing to choose from and was handwritten that morning. We loved the atmosphere, it was very memorable.

What are the best things to do in Paris?

We were surprised by visiting the top of the Sacre Ceour at golden hour. Surprised, as in we didn’t plan it and walked by the entry way by happenstance. It was an incredible view and at 8:00pm the Eiffel Tower lights up and puts on a short 30 minute light show. The sounds of people enjoying the square below, the amazing 360 view of the city, it was a lot to take in. We really enjoyed taking a few slow days and exploring the Montmarte neighborhood. We took our time, wandered streets aimlessly, found the Wall of Love, the deepest metro station with a beautiful mural, had some incredible multi layered pistachio dipped ice cream, perused cafe terraces all afternoon, and looked for new pieces of street art added to the walls around us. There are a few Space Invader pieces in this area. Download the free app Flash Invaders and scan the pieces as you find them to collect points.
