“ Coo did a fantastic job photographing our family of 14 members ranging from 4 years old to 76. He first of all gave us several venues for the photoshoot in the town of Nara we specifically chose because of the temple and the deer roaming the temple grounds. We could not decide where to meet and Coo responded with 3 possible places. The one we selected was the Kasuga Taisha Shrine due to the great scenic views leading up to the shrine. The site was blessed with several hundred ancient stone lanterns, vermillion colored tori gates and tall pines and most importantly for our shoot...the tame Nara deer. Coo shot dozens of photos of the entire family, from individual families to grand parents and grandchildren, to just grandchildren. Individual family members responded to theis photo shoot with very complimentary comments from...."Amazing"....to "Fabulous" experience. For me, it was one of highlights of our trip to Japan. I just cannot imagine that after planning this entire family trip for almost two years during the pandemic and spending much money on plane fares and accommodations that we would just ask a passing stranger to take our picture. Coo was very thoughtful in his planning and ideas and working with the family. The final selection of the Kasuga Taisha Shrine was perfect with vermillion colored Tori gate to complement the colors of the ancient shrine and the pine trees. But what was the frosting on the cake was the deer, who Coo gently and gingerly coax (with a deer treat) to become part of our family shot. He was exceptional in all respects. One last very important comment was the unexpected heat of the Japan summer which residents of the area claim was hotter than usual. The temperature registered at least 96 degrees Fahrenheit. It seems like over a 100. But Coo worked with all of us who were actually wilting in the heat and profusely perspiring. With his attitude at the shoot and how he made the deer a great distraction from the heat for all of us especially the young grandkids demonstrated his professionalism and compassion. You cannot imagine the heat we were experiencing looking at the photos he took. Glenn and Elaine Miura and family, Hawaii ”
“ Coo was so easy to work with for our large party of 10! He captured exactly what we were looking for and helped us create the memory of being together in Japan is such a beautiful way! ”

“ Coo also shot our shoot in Osaka (he also shot us with his wife in Kyoto) and we had such a fun experience! He captured so many beautiful candid moments between my husband and I. I'm so thankful that he was able to shoot us twice because he is such a talented photographer. I've already told all of my family and friends about him! ”
“ I had an excellent session with Coo in Osaka. He came ready to work we had one hour before sunset. He had locations figured out and was extremely professional and efficient. He speaks fluent English which is important when you are expecting some cues from your photographer. I enjoyed my shoot and everything was seamless. I would highly recommend Coo and will make sure to book another session with him next time in Japan with my family. ”

“ Coo was an absolute delight to work with. Not only is he a brilliant, agile and creative photographer - he’s also a kind and informative person. I was a little uncomfortable about being photographed but he made it easy for us. His English is also very strong and that helped quite a bit as well. Would 100% use Coo again on future trips, I suggest anyone do the same. ”
“ Coo, was amazing. He was very informative and made the experience very comfortable. The pictures were great as was the whole experience. I would highly recommend him. ”
“ Coo put a beautiful full-stop to our trip in Kyoto. His shooting style is naturally professional and friendly, which made the whole experience relaxingly enjoyable. The route he had chosen for our shooting was rich and remarkable in cultural content. We love the good balance in snapshot and posing produced at the end. ”
