“ Jana did our family shoot this year in Maui. I found her through flytographer and in going through the various photographer's portfolio's, her style resonated most with me. I love the colors, the washed out backgrounds, the nature and how her focus was on the family. I've worked with at least 6 different photographers as we do almost annual photo shoots for the family. Jana is commendable for her clear communication and flexibility (we wanted to change the shooting location the day before the shoot) and her making sure I got the photos I wanted from the shoot. She kept asking "do you have all the photos you wanted covered?" as we'd wanted group shots, individual shots, shots with both kids, shots with one kid, etc. We got everything. She even incorporated a prop we brought that proved amazing! I liked that Jana would also step in to fix a flyaway strand of hair or give guidance on a pose - not everyone does this. Some of the poses she suggested I would never have thought of but they proved (I loved the blurred head to head shot of me and my husband with the focus on the kids). Jana is new to this platform but she has a ton of experience and it showed in our final results. If you're looking for stunning photos during your trip to Maui you can confidently book her. ”
