What is the best tip for travelling with kids to London?

Be sure to check out the Discover Children’s Story Center if you have little ones under the age of 5. Our toddler had a blast exploring the space and there’s a great outdoor playground. Be sure to make time for midday naps, if needed. We picked a hotel that had midafternoon scones available for a quick snack before heading out for an afternoon of fun!

What are the best things to do in London?

The borough market was so fun to explore (tip: get the strawberries with chocolate- amazing!), sky garden views (tip: get tickets 6 weeks in advance. They’re free!). The tube was so efficient and fun, recommend the Citymapper app for seamless instructions, it was better than google maps and most locals used it. Honestly just walking around and taking in the sights was what we enjoyed.

What is the best tip for travelling with kids to London?

I travelled with my 14 month old. I researched playgrounds ahead of time, and yeah having him in a stroller for prolonged periods of time was no fun, so recomend parks to let out the wiggles. Also a lot of museums are free and kid friendly such as the Natural history museum and the Tate. We used a travel stroller, so keep in mind some tube stations didn’t have working lifts (elevators) so we had to work a little harder to carry the stroller up and down. Most ppl were very friendly to our baby, and I found ppl were more willing to talk to us bc of our child, so don’t be afraid to travel with them! Most restaurants had high chairs and were good with kids. Also London heathrow had a play area for kids, highly recommend to let their wiggles out before the flight.
