Travel Story
Two days after our wedding, we hopped on several planes (the west coast of Canada is pretty far from Europe) to head to our honeymoon in Lisbon and Vienna. We had several people ask us, "why the combination of Lisbon and Vienna?" Well, why not Lisbon and Vienna, really! They are both romantic cities, but they each offer a very difference experience so it was fun to get to visit both. It was hard to pick between Lisbon and Vienna for our Flytographer session since they are both beautiful cities, but architecture of Vienna is what sold me.
Travel Tips
A museum a day was our motto! And we still didn't get to see them all... Vienna truly is a gem of museums. The Belvedere, the Hofburg Palace, Schönbrunn, the Albertina; they are all wonderful places to visit if art history is your thing. They even have a dedicated MuseumQuartier full of them, which is where we took our pictures. After Natascha finished up the pictures, she suggested we hang around the Quartier plaza. We are glad we did! It was a great morning, soaking up the sun at a cafe, trying apfelsaft and stromsaft (apple and current juice), watching babies and puppies play in the nearby pond. Embracing the cafe culture in Europe is always a fun way to take some time to soak in everything that is going on.
