We had a long business trip that began in London then to Milan so we took a 3 day weekend in Venice. After taking the train in from Milan, the best part was arriving to our stunning hotel the Aman Venice by water taxi.

Anyone that says you only need 1 day in Venice does not understand or appreciate this city. The BEST part of Venice is rambling up and down endless little alleys and canals, each one more charming and getting lost on your way to aperitivo or dinner!
