Starting a new decade called for a new adventure in Antigua, Guatemala. By thinking outside the travel box, Antigua offered an experience that I will always treasure. The majesty of its lush landscape along with its charming and colorful architecture created a cheery backdrop to my celebrations. This birthday will always be special thanks to the magic of Guatemala. Salud!
Travel Tips
The Choco Museo was such a treat! Who needs birthday cake when you can make chocolate on your birthday? My birthday dinner was at the classy Panza Verde restaurant. I loved vibrancy of Parque Central which is where some of my pictures were taken! The tours offered De la Gente Tourism were amazing and a great way to connect with the people of Antigua. I made my own Huipil handbag on one tour and roasted and ground coffee with a local coffee farmer on another! Rudy Giron photo walk was also a wonderful crash course in photography and local history. It was an insider view of all the beauty and history in the city!
