Travel Story
My father in law was turning 60 and we wanted to celebrate in Italy with another family (15 people total!), so we chose the Amalfi Coast as our destination and Positano as our home base. What an amazing time we had.. I think Positano is one of the most breathtaking places in the world. One of my favorite days, probably ever, was when we chartered a big boat between the two families and cruised to Capri, swam in the grottos, and got to enjoy the Amalfi Coast line. It was a vacation that will be hard to beat!
Travel Tips
Highly recommend taking a boat of some kind to see the coast line. We took the ferry to amalfi and it was awesome and affordable Compared to chattering a boat. We also really loved Pompeii- it was worth the day trip if you like history. And the Path of the Gods hike is a must if you’re in the area.
