Houston has so many little gems that don't get enough credit! Discovery green and Herman Park are both brilliant on a beautiful day, an oasis in otherwise urban areas. I also love all the local coffee and donut shops sprinkled through the city - and my children love them too!
Rent a beach house on the beach and visit JB coffee in Jamaica beach. Best coffee!
