Bangkok is a jewel of a city \u2013 rich in history and alive with colour. Travel bloggers Aditi and Aman of The Roaming Pear<\/a> experienced one of its treasures \u2013 the stunning Grand Palace<\/a> \u2013 with Flytographer Tom<\/a> under the toasty Thai sun.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt was time for a vacation to a tropical, hot & humid location \u2013 far, far away from icy, snowstorm-stricken NYC! We had been planning our bucket list trip to Thailand for about a year. There is so much to see and do \u2013 temples, beaches, elephant (reservation) camp, street food (yep, worms and all!), floating markets in the canals \u2013 wow!<\/em><\/p>\n


\n<\/em><\/p>\n

\u201cEver since I read about Flytographer, we wanted to sign up! This would be a perfect souvenir \u2013 and we wanted the photos to be bright, colorful and fun \u2013 after all, that\u2019s the essence of Thailand, the land of smiles!<\/em><\/p>\n

\u201cWe took the ferry to the Grand Palace [where we scheduled our shoot] and THAT was an experience in itself \u2013 we highly recommend it! When we got to the gates, a well dressed gentleman walked over looking concerned and insisted that the palace was closed for a \u2018special event,\u2019 and that we really should come back another day. In fact, we should go on a shopping trip with him and he would even get a taxi for us. How considerate! We had been forewarned and smelled a scam, ha! We thanked him profusely for his \u2018kindness\u2019 and decided to take pictures of the gate. He walked us there, but finally got the hint. And then we were off to find Tom!<\/em><\/p>\n

\n\"\"<\/p>\n

\u201cTom was absolutely incredible, and such a trooper for walking around the large grounds of the Grand Palace in the scorching heat! The photos turned out so amazing and exactly how we envisioned. Above all, he made us look like we were the only ones there, even though the place was swarming with tourists that day!<\/em><\/p>\n

Thanks a ton, Flytographer, we can\u2019t wait to have our photos taken (again) at our next vacation spot. What a brilliant idea!\u201d <\/em>\u2013 Aditi & Aman<\/p>\n

Tom told us, \u201cI had such a great time with them. Initially I was a bit panicky as there was an insane number of tourists visiting the Grand Palace at that time and I was scared we were going to miss each other at the entrance!<\/em><\/p>\n

They were such good sports and the half hour I had with them simply flew by! We got a great range of shots at such a packed place, and even managed to make it look like they were the only ones there. The tuk tuk shots at the end with the Palace in the background were icing on the cake!\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n
