Flytographer is looking for a Digital Content Manager to develop and own the voice of Flytographer for all channels including web, email, blog and social.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2>Digital Content Manager<\/h2>\n<p><strong>Location:<\/strong>&nbsp;Victoria, BC<\/p>\n<p><strong>You:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>You want to make an impact on a fast growing company<\/li>\n<li>You want to lead the creation of the voice and execute content on a daily basis<\/li>\n<li>You are a &nbsp;positive and proactive person that is not afraid of rolling up their sleeves to get work done<\/li>\n<li>You have proven experience in writing digital content that is clear, snappy and fun with ideally either a professional journalism\/ marketing qualification or degree<\/li>\n<li>You are naturally highly attentive to detail, organized and an individual who thrives in a role that is varied and demanding<\/li>\n<li>You are a social media ninja (who knows the power of a good Instagram story) and has a proven track record for growing a brand\u2019s social media presence<\/li>\n<li>You can nerd out on metrics and are obsessed with generating impact with everything you do<\/li>\n<li>You love discovering and learning the latest technology and social platforms<\/li>\n<li>This bulleted list with every sentence starting with \u201cyou\u201d drove you crazy and you can list three ways to improve this job posting off the top of your head<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Content Strategy &amp; Creation<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Determine annual content strategy and plan based on core marketing and business objectives, trends\/themes, and key audience needs.<\/li>\n<li>Develop and own the voice of Flytographer for all channels including web, email, blog and social<\/li>\n<li>Plan and write engaging, compelling blog posts, website copy, emails, social media posts, brand collateral and more<\/li>\n<li>Ensure brand consistency (concepts, copy, tone) on all projects and deliver key messages for users at each stage of the sales funnel<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Demand Generation<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Access and understand customer problems, motivations, needs and wants in order to develop action-oriented copy<\/li>\n<li>Use SEO principles and best practices to rework copy to naturally integrate strategic keywords to help us show up in the right places<\/li>\n<li>Optimize copy based on internal feedback, A\/B testing data and campaign performance<\/li>\n<li>Create and test copy that drives conversions, increases click-through rates or impacts other key metrics<\/li>\n<li>Keep up-to-date with industry best practice and monitoring content activities of competitor websites<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Social Media<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Manage a social media calendar and content, staying on top of trends and best practices for posts and IG stories<\/li>\n<li>Choose imagery for blog, email, social and assigned marketing campaigns<\/li>\n<li>Create and post timely, relevant content to our social channels to drive engagement<\/li>\n<li>Educate and influence other team members on best practices around conversion copy and social media<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Minimum of 4 years experience in digital content writing {including blog, email, mobile (in-app\/product, push notifications), digital advertising, social media, landing pages, etc.}<\/li>\n<li>Professional journalism\/marketing degree preferred<\/li>\n<li>Excellent writing skills<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work independently and with cross-functional teams &nbsp;<\/li>\n<li>Fluent in digital marketing channels including blog, email, mobile (in-app\/product, push notifications), digital advertising, social media, landing pages, etc<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div class=\"sqs-block-button-container--center\" data-alignment=\"center\" data-button-size=\"medium\">\n<a href=\"https:\/\/flytographer.wufoo.eu\/forms\/wsx4x9r10j9668\/\" class=\"sqs-block-button-element--medium sqs-block-button-element\" target=\"_blank\">Apply Now <\/a>\n<\/div>\n<p><span class=\"et_social_bottom_trigger\"><\/span>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We are hiring!
