There is a palpable sense of energy flowing through the streets from the bustling squares to the quiet alleyways. It is a city that is easy and encouraged to get a bit lost in and at the end of the day, you\u2019ll collapse into bed with aching feet and legs because, oh my goodness, there are hills.<\/p>\n<p>      <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/flyphotoprod.wpenginepowered.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/5ad033f4ba2ed_Lisbon%20family%20vacation%20photographer.jpgLisbon%20family%20vacation%20photographer\" alt=\"\"><br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/flyphotoprod.wpenginepowered.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/5ad033f8a095a_Lisbon%20family%20vacation%20photographer.jpgLisbon%20family%20vacation%20photographer\" alt=\"\"><br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/flyphotoprod.wpenginepowered.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/5ad033fc70dd7_Lisbon%20family%20vacation%20photographer.jpgLisbon%20family%20vacation%20photographer\" alt=\"\"><\/p>\n<p>We found it worth it to travel out to <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/www.golisbon.com\/sight-seeing\/belem.html\">Bel\u00e9m<\/a> ten minutes by taxi and to wander away from the centre in search of the wonderful playground in <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/www.golisbon.com\/sight-seeing\/estrela-gardens.html\">Jardim da Estrela<\/a>&nbsp;for our little traveller. It\u2019s in those neighbourhoods where we really started to love Lisbon.<\/p>\n<p>      <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/flyphotoprod.wpenginepowered.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/5ad034007f8d9_Lisbon%20family%20vacation%20photographer.jpgLisbon%20family%20vacation%20photographer\" alt=\"\"><br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/flyphotoprod.wpenginepowered.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/5ad03404a2c10_Lisbon%20family%20vacation%20photographer.jpgLisbon%20family%20vacation%20photographer\" alt=\"\"><br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/flyphotoprod.wpenginepowered.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/5ad0340859ae5_Lisbon%20family%20vacation%20photographer.jpgLisbon%20family%20vacation%20photographer\" alt=\"\"><\/p>\n<p>Caf\u00e9s and bakeries are easy to come by but for the discerning coffee lovers, I highly recommend detouring to <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/cphcoffeelab.pt\/\">Copenhagen Coffee Lab<\/a> (easy to hit on your way back from Jardim da Estrela) and the more centrally located, <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/www.fabricacoffeeroasters.com\/\">Fabrica Coffee Roasters<\/a>, the latter of which has an excellent fresh menu for breakfast and lunch and some great craft beers to try in house or takeaway.<\/p>\n<p>      <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/flyphotoprod.wpenginepowered.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/5ad0340c4b891_Lisbon%20family%20vacation%20photographer.jpgLisbon%20family%20vacation%20photographer\" alt=\"\"><br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/flyphotoprod.wpenginepowered.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/5ad0341043b02_Lisbon%20family%20vacation%20photographer.jpgLisbon%20family%20vacation%20photographer\" alt=\"\"><br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/flyphotoprod.wpenginepowered.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/5ad0341439abc_Lisbon%20family%20vacation%20photographer.jpgLisbon%20family%20vacation%20photographer\" alt=\"\"><br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/flyphotoprod.wpenginepowered.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/5ad03418385e9_Lisbon%20family%20vacation%20photographer.jpgLisbon%20family%20vacation%20photographer\" alt=\"\"><\/p>\n<p>A couple of notable restaurants sit across from <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/www.golisbon.com\/sight-seeing\/cathedral.html\">S\u00e9 Cathedral<\/a> open all afternoon;
