1. The Cloisters<\/b><\/h2>\n

Why not start with a bit of architecture? In Paradise Island, a small island next to Nassau\u2019s New Providence, you\u2019ll find The Cloisters, a beautiful monument composed of the original marble colonnade from two ancient cloisters in Europe. The structure sits surrounded by the exuberant Versailles Gardens at the Four Seasons Resort, with swaying palm trees and lush bougainvillea. The medieval arches might seem out of place in a Caribbean setting (and, technically, they are). Still, they make for one of Nassau\u2019s most Instagrammable places, adding a stunning contrast to the cerulean waters of Nassau Harbor. \ud83d\udc99<\/span><\/p>\n

2. Cabbage Beach<\/b><\/h2>\n

In need of some beach therapy? A stone\u2019s throw away from The Cloisters and a short drive from downtown Nassau is Cabbage Beach, one of the most popular Bahamian beaches. Expect nothing less than powdery white sand on your feet, the most vibrant blue waters to one side, and lush coastal vegetation to the other. Walk to the end of the beach to find a rock formation with fantastic panoramic views which is one of the best places to take photos in Nassau.  \ud83c\udfdd\ufe0f<\/span><\/p>\n

Cabbage Beach is a lively beach, busy with locals and tourists all year round, including those who hop out from the cruise ships anchored at Nassau Port.
