2. Temple of Debod<\/b><\/h2>\n

One of Madrid\u2019s best photo spots, the Temple of Debod \u2014 known to locals as Templo de Debod \u2014 is a hidden gem. The ancient Egyptian ruins are found in the west side of the city in pretty Parque del Oeste.<\/span><\/p>\n

The beautiful stone temple is set behind two stone archways atop a serene pond with still waters. Sprawling green grounds surround the temple, including a botanical garden with a vast variety of plants and trees, creating a tranquil scene perfect for an ancient temple. 7. Plaza Mayor<\/b><\/h2>\n

Centrally located near the Royal Palace and Puerta del Sol, Plaza Mayor is one of Madrid\u2019s largest community hubs, often used for citywide celebrations. It is also widely regarded as the city\u2019s most beloved square.<\/span><\/p>\n
