We asked Nicole for an update on her beautiful girl, and she wrote us a touching account of Ayanna\u2019s life in her home on Canada\u2019s east coast.<\/p>\n<div style=\"width: 1010px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/flyphotoprod.wpenginepowered.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/01\/5ad00d00301f4_img.jpg\" alt=\"  Photo:&nbsp;Nancy Hurry-Hogan  \"><\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-caption-text\">Photo:&nbsp;Nancy Hurry-Hogan<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p><em>\u201cI arrived home on Prince Edward Island with Ayanna a few days after our Flytographer photo shoot, in February 2014. Family and friends welcomed us with tremendous enthusiasm, and showered us with love and support. She is affectionate, sociable and funny; smart, confident and determined; curious, adventurous and oh-so-mischievous. She loves cuddling at story-time,&nbsp;dancing at ceilidhs, going to the beach, dressing up in fancy gowns, playing at the park, shopping at \u2018Balu Billage\u2019&nbsp;(Value Village), and eating mini-donuts at the Farmers\u2019 Market\u2026 the only thing she really doesn\u2019t like is getting her hair combed. She goes to \u2018school\u2019&nbsp;(daycare) two days\/week; she started swimming lessons a few weeks ago, and she\u2019ll start music lessons in the New Year.
