Moving around in <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">front of the camera<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> has many benefits: it can help reduce any anxiety you might have by distracting you, and it will also offer you more photo options. You\u2019ll get 10 different photos if you\u2019re moving around versus 10 of the same photo if you\u2019re standing still!&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Ideas for movement include:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Laughing.<\/strong>&nbsp;Fake laughter often turns into real laughter, and real laughter is our favourite way to see your smile!<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Walking.<\/strong>&nbsp;\ud83c\udfb6 \u201cPut one foot in front of the other\u2026\u201d \ud83c\udfb6&nbsp; Other options include running, dancing and jumping! Mix it up with <\/b><b>different angles<\/b><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Even if you have just a handful of go-to poses, mixing it up with different camera angles will give you even more variety.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Shoot from just above eye-level for flattering angles. It\u2019s why everyone you see taking a <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">selfie<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> is holding their phone up above their face rather than straight-on. This angle can give the effect of extra long legs, but it can be less flattering to look down at the camera. Try to take a close-up, medium and wide shot, so even if you use the same pose, you\u2019ll have three completely different photos.<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Start with an up-close portrait with the focus on the eyes. This is also a great time to use the portrait mode on your iphone!<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The further your photographer moves back, the more sense of place you\u2019ll have in your photos.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Finally, an even wider shot will beautifully show off your destination. Instead of just a landscape shot, you can include yourself in your memory!<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><b>5. However, we love an excuse to go shopping too \ud83d\ude09 We recommend keeping your outfits simple so you can shine.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Dress for your destination. Take the weather and location into account when getting ready, so you\u2019re comfortable as well as cute! In a beachy destination, bring along a hair tie or clip for breezy conditions, and if you\u2019re in a humid destination, hairspray or <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">pomade<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> will be your best friend. Layer up for colder destinations, and opt for light colours that will hide any sweat stains if you\u2019re feeling the heat.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">What\u2019s the occasion? If you\u2019re opting for a formal look, <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">dark lipstick<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> and an updo are a classic combination, but if you\u2019re usually more casual, stay true to you! We love <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">natural light<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, so sunshine is an essential <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">light source<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> (plus, a great source of vitamin D \ud83c\udf1e). This is always when we recommend doing a Flytographer shoot because our professional photographers love this type of light so much.
