For two weeks after our wedding, we travelled all over Europe starting in Amsterdam with stops in Munich, Lucerne, <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/flyphotoprod.wpenginepowered.com\/destinations\/cinque-terre\">Cinque Terre<\/a> and, our final destination, <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/flyphotoprod.wpenginepowered.com\/destinations\/milan\">Milan<\/a>. In 2009, I spent a college semester living and studying in Milan, so it holds a special place in my heart. While I was studying abroad, I became very close with four other American students. These girls became lifelong friends and we\u2019ve made special trips every year to see each other. These are the girls who gifted Flytographer to me and my husband. <\/em><\/p>\n<p>      <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/flyphotoprod.wpenginepowered.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/10\/5ad05968240fa_Milan%20vacation%20photographer.jpgMilan%20vacation%20photographer\" alt=\"\"><br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/flyphotoprod.wpenginepowered.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/10\/5ad05979d594f_Milan%20vacation%20photographer.jpgMilan%20vacation%20photographer\" alt=\"\"><br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/flyphotoprod.wpenginepowered.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/10\/5ad0598b9fa6e_Milan%20vacation%20photographer.jpgMilan%20vacation%20photographer\" alt=\"\"><br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/flyphotoprod.wpenginepowered.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/10\/5ad0599ec9be4_Milan%20vacation%20photographer.jpgMilan%20vacation%20photographer\" alt=\"\"><br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/flyphotoprod.wpenginepowered.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/10\/5ad059b013a77_Milan%20vacation%20photographer.jpgMilan%20vacation%20photographer\" alt=\"\"><\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cWe were only in Milan for two days. Unfortunately, many of the stores were closed for holiday while we visited, but I was still able to show Alan my old stomping grounds. Some of the best places in Milan were still bustling. We walked from our <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.airbnb.com\/\">Airbnb<\/a> down <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/ciaomilano.it\/e\/shops\/torino.asp\">Via Torino<\/a> and Corso di Porta Ticenese to the Navigli Grande, walked along the canal and shared a bottle of Italian red wine over dinner. Afterwards, I took him to <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/www.ristorantepaneevino.it\/\">Ristorante Pane e Vino<\/a> and we enjoyed my favorite drink, Caipiroska alla Fragola, something I haven\u2019t been able to enjoy outside of Milan! We decided to take a stroll to the <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/www.duomomilano.it\/en\/\">Duomo<\/a> and walk through my favorite place, <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/www.ingalleria.com\/en\">Galleria Vittorio Emanuele<\/a>. These beautiful buildings are breathtaking while lit up at night!<\/em><\/p>\n<p>      <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/flyphotoprod.wpenginepowered.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/10\/5ad059c208cd1_Milan%20vacation%20photographer.jpgMilan%20vacation%20photographer\" alt=\"\"><br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/flyphotoprod.wpenginepowered.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/10\/5ad059d41922a_Milan%20vacation%20photographer.jpgMilan%20vacation%20photographer\" alt=\"\"><br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/flyphotoprod.wpenginepowered.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/10\/5ad059e61be0c_Milan%20vacation%20photographer.jpgMilan%20vacation%20photographer\" alt=\"\"><\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cThe next day, I brought Alan to <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/www.ucsc.it\/\">Universita Cattolica<\/a> and <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/Caff%C3%A8-Carducci-133376450044499\/\">Caffe Carducci<\/a>, where I spent a good amount of my time while studying abroad. We met Elena at the entrance of the Galleria. She was absolutely amazing and we connected because all three of us are teachers. She brought us through <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/www.viamontenapoleone.org\/\">Via Monte Napoleone<\/a> with stops in the way at beautiful buildings. Next, Elena brought us to the <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/ciaomilano.it\/e\/shops\/brera.asp\">Brera district<\/a> and to the <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/pinacotecabrera.org\/\">Pinacoteca di Brera<\/a>, which I had never been to during my time in Milan.
