We\u2019re so excited to introduce you to our traveller of the week, Deonza. In true globetrotter fashion, she headed to Lisbon<\/a> solo, but she wasn\u2019t alone for long and celebrated her birthday with new friends.<\/p>\n

Deonza chats about her solo travels and what she loved most about Lisbon.<\/p>\n

This trip and photo shoot were a birthday present to myself. I have wanted to visit Lisbon for a long time and this seemed like as good a time as any. I had a wonderful time in Lisbon. I have only heard great things about the city and Lisbon did not disappoint. It is beautiful, the people are nice, the food is delicious, and the nightlife is fantastic. It was the perfect place to travel solo.<\/p>\n

When I arrived in Lisbon, the customs agent said, \u2018Oh, your birthday is tomorrow. Do you have friends or family in Lisbon?\u2019 I said, \u2018No.\u2019 He said, \u2018So you will be alone on your birthday?\u2019 I replied, \u2018No. It\u2019s only 5:00 pm. I will have two friends by tomorrow night!\u2019 The next day, I met two amazing women on my Sintra tour. We had dinner and danced the night away together.<\/p>\n
