Niklas and Thalia travelled to Tokyo to celebrate their one-year anniversary. Despite a little rain, they marked the special occasion with a romantic and playful photo session under the cherry blossoms.<\/p>\n

Shiba Park is Japan\u2019s oldest public park and boasts a number of sights worth seeing. Besides an incredible view of Tokyo Tower<\/a>, Zojoji Temple<\/a> is located on the grounds, as well. This Buddhist temple has an impressive main gate and the grounds are peaceful (and free) to explore.<\/p>\n

\n\"\"<\/p>\n

One of the highlights of Niklas and Thalia\u2019s first trip to Tokyo was exploring Shinjuku Golden Gai, a section of small alleys (too narrow for cars to get down) filled with hundreds of tiny bars. \u201cWe met lots of interesting people there.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

Niklas and Thalia\u2019s favourite restaurant was Otsuka<\/a>, a small steakhouse located in Kyoto. \u201cTry the Murasawa steak, probably the most tender we\u2019ve ever had.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n
