It\u2019s a special time for families-to-be<\/h2>\n

For anyone not familiar with the babymoon<\/em>, this is a special vacation for expecting couples to spend some quality time together before the baby makes its first big appearance. It\u2019s one last peaceful getaway to relax and recharge just for two. This year, expecting families stole away to a host of romantic and beautiful locations near and far\u2014from Kauai to Santorini to Lisbon and every scenic locale in between. Here are 10 of our favourites from 2018:<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

\u201cFrom the food to exploring multiple cities, our whole trip had been memorable. The best part was being able to enjoy each day and experience with my best friend.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Inspiration:<\/strong> \u201cMy husband and I decided on travelling to Portugal for our babymoon. We both had wanted to travel to a country we have never visited before and without the worry of Zika. After much research, Portugal topped our list for its\u2019 rich history and culture.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Talk about a serendipitous babymoon, Alexandra and her husband timed their trip to the Amalfi Coast for the 5th anniversary of their honeymoon and Alexandra\u2019s 30th birthday. The couple explored the stunning cliffside village of Positano, one of the most iconic spots on the Amalfi Coast. <\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

\u201cWe spent time in Maui a few years back on our honeymoon and thought it was so special to return on our babymoon. Our favourite memory was visiting Mama\u2019s Fish House after being there on our honeymoon. We loved reminiscing on what life was like when we there the first time and couldn\u2019t stop talking about all of the fun and exciting changes that were going to be happening with our baby\u2019s arrival.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

\u201cWhat a wonderful way to remember this precious moment in our lives. We loved just wandering the tiny streets and seeing the beautiful caldera views and colourful sunsets. A sunset dinner cruise was also a highlight of our trip.<\/span><\/p>\n

Inspiration: <\/strong>\u201cMy husband and I spent our one-year anniversary in Santorini, Greece. It was a beautiful place and somewhere we both had wanted to go for a long time. Also, I am six months pregnant! So, we wanted to relax in a romantic place together.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
