Mikayla and Leon spent their first vacation together exploring their family\u2019s roots. First, they headed to Hong Kong to discover firsthand where their families came from and then they headed to Seoul to immerse themselves in Korean culture. Read on for their favourite memories.<\/p>\n

\u201cAs a couple, we wanted to explore our Chinese ancestral roots. Leon was born in Hong Kong<\/a>, but moved away to Canada as a child so it was nice to explore his place of birth. My grandma was born and raised in Hong Kong before she immigrated to Canada. We wanted to taste the vibrant foods and see this city together.<\/p>\n

\u201cSeoul<\/a> was our second vacation spot. I have always loved Korean food, K-dramas, Korean skincare and beauty, and especially K-pop music. I really wanted to share this with Leon. We found a new love together making Kimbap to eat after our trip. We put locks away up in Namsan Tower<\/a> to commemorate our feelings for eachother. Seoul captured our love and Hong Kong captured our curiosity.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis was our first vacation together as a couple. My mom booked two Flytographer shoots, one in Hong Kong<\/a> for our family photos and one in Seoul<\/a> just for us. We had a good mixture of laughter, smiles and capturing the love we both feel for each other. It was a great way to capture our love for travel and the experiences we had in both cities.\u201d \u2013 Mikayla<\/p>\n
