There is nothing more important than family \u2013 and while we normally get to capture families in the \u2018here and now\u2019, it\u2019s a special treat when we get to help a family revisit their roots, and learn the history of where they really came from! For Elizabeth\u2019s mom, Penny, this meant an extra-special birthday trip to Scotland to learn more about her ancestry, while also enjoying some mother-daughter bonding time. We  were so excited when we heard we would have the chance to capture these ladies again (they had an awesome multi-generational shoot in Paris!*), and these pictures captured by Jilli<\/a> did not disappoint! Check out the photos from this birthday adventure around Edinburgh, Scotland, and take a step back in time\u2026<\/p>\n

\u201cFor my mom\u2019s 75th birthday we decided to retrace her history with a visit to Scotland. Having worked with Flytographer previously while vacationing in Paris, I knew right away it was worthwhile adding a quick photography session to our travel plans.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

\u201cThe experience working with Jilli<\/a> in Edinburgh was nothing short of fun. She helped us relax and get comfortable behind the lens. The result is a collection of fabulous photographs that are a true expression of our mother\/daughter bond and the trip of a lifetime!\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n
