I knew at a very early age that I wanted to create, find, and make something aesthetically beautiful. I thought I had found my life purpose when I studied architecture in Venezuela, my home country. I then decided to move to NYC to follow my real dream, to become a photographer. My vision is natural and fresh photography within an urban setting. I love spontaneity and will ask you to walk, talk or even jump, just so I can catch the perfect moment. I like to think of myself as a "Joy Preservationist" that is constantly on the quest to capture life’s most unforgettable moments.
- I absolutely love to dance Zumba. Exercising is my fuel and what keeps my blood pressure stable. Sometimes I like to bike around the city and I enjoy greeting anyone who drives by next to me.
- I can’t breathe without my hubby’s smile and my huge ginger cat, Dash.
- I am currently trying to learn Mandarin. The number of existing characters is actually 54,678, and locals usually know around 4000...this is showing to be quiet challenging for me, but I will be really happy with at least with 1000.
Favourite Place to Shoot in Shanghai
Although the list is long, my top 3 favorite by far are: the Confucian Temple for its serene magic, The Bund for its inspiring and unique shapes, and XinTianDi for its mix between the old and the new, especially the lane houses observing day-to-day life.
Spanish, English and survival Mandarin!
