My brand of lifestyle photography documents real-life events, situations and milestones, with a bit of creative editorial storytelling thrown in. Having started my career in newspapers, I'll always be a photojournalist first and foremost. I love the storytelling element of my work, and strive to do so honestly and accurately. I believe in getting the shot right the first time, relying on my skill and available light, and not Photoshop.
- I love exploring! There's nothing better than getting a little lost, and encountering new people, tastes and perspectives.
- I can't live without my camera: It's my way of taking in and reflecting back the world around me.
- I'm a little obsessed with my Yorkie, Birdy. She goes everywhere with me, and even rides in my bicycle basket.

Customer Love for Erin...
"The photoshoot itself was a magical time and Erin was simply lovely to work with. My daughter is a bit camera shy and we were both feeling tired by the time our sunset photoshoot came around but Erin captured our closeness and I just love the shots. They look even better than I hoped. Thank you, thank you, thank you, Flytographer!" - Carmen (see blog post here)

"Erin made us feel very comfortable and at ease. She had great ideas on places to shoot, and was very flexible in welcoming our spontaneous 'Monkees' move while we were walking too (we walked to the theme song of the TV show The Monkees as we sauntered down the pavement). We love our photos!" - Kara
"Erin was friendly and open to running around in the rain for pictures. Thanks for doing such a great job!" - Sandy
