Their Story

Matt: “I feel like our story started like any other relationship starts. Tiffany and I worked in different departments at a large hospitality company with hundreds of employees. Our paths never seemed to cross until one day when we just so happened to be working an event together. There was an immediate attraction; however, there was one small hitch… I was leaving in a couple of months to attend graduate school in Washington D.C. We both agreed that this was not a situation where we were going to let distance determine our relationship, so we tried dating while living five states apart. I can’t say it was simple; a lot of time it was a challenge – but as they say, ‘Love conquers all.’

“After a year, we thought it would be best if Tiffany came to D.C., and our relationship definitely grew stronger because of it. This new chapter of our lives has stimulated such positive growth for us as individuals and as a couple. This summer, we decided to plan our first international trip together. Ireland was one of the countries we both always wanted to visit. Though marriage had been a frequent topic of conversation this year, Tiffany had no idea what I had in store for our vacation.

The proposal

“I knew that I wanted to capture the proposal so we would have a nice keepsake for years to come. I came across Flytographer on the internet, and I’m glad I did. Preparing for the surprise photo shoot was actually the easiest part of the proposal after a quick Skype session with Tedi, our shoot concierge, and Aoife, the photographer. My perfect proposal was starting to take shape! The trip to Ireland is something I’ll never forget, and because of Flytographer and Aoife I can relive that moment whenever I want. I could not be happier with the photos and the top-rate service they provided!

“2016 will be our third year together and one full of life changes! We will be first-time home buyers and newlyweds back in our home state, Florida. We have been working as a team, planning our immediate and long-term futures! One of our exciting plans has been the theme for our wedding reception: Ireland.”
